I originally read Nathan Alan Schwartz's first book "The Melancholy Spectator" which I thought was extremely good. When I read "Between the Empty Spaces" it was like being slapped in the face. I was amazed at the evolution of his writing. This book is both broad in scope and condensed at some parts. One particular poem titled "The Beauty of Imperfection" is one of the best poems I've read this entire year. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to "feel" poetry. I would also recommend it to anyone who wants to read some great poems by a poet that is getting better by the second. I already can't wait for his next book. This is definitely a poet to keep an eye on.Product details

Fantastic poetry by a fantastic writer! Nathan does it yet again in his second book - it's a must-read!
I originally read Nathan Alan Schwartz's first book "The Melancholy Spectator" which I thought was extremely good. When I read "Between the Empty Spaces" it was like being slapped in the face.
